GPT Store and ChatGPT Teams are here

3 Min Read • Intensity: ☕️
Good morning, Caffeinators☀️
Three important news are coming your way. All announced by OpenAI!
Today’s Starting Sips:
🗽 OpenAI’s Response to the New York Times
🚀 The GPT Store is Launched
👬 The ChatGPT Team: GPT but for Teams

Remember how last week, the New York Times was furious at OpenAI? The drama gets better.
OpenAI posted an article on its blog justifying its use of training data.
The Specifics:
Disputing NYT's Claims: OpenAI claims the New York Times is not presenting the full story. They accuse the NYT of manipulating prompts to produce specific “regurgitations“ as evidence in court.
Opt-Out Option: OpenAI offers an opt-out feature for companies who don't want their content used in training.
Training and Fair Use: OpenAI asserts that publicly available internet content for AI training is fair use.
Why It Is Important:
This lawsuit shows how complicated AI, content creation, and intellectual property rights are. What’s important is the outcome of this lawsuit. This case could set an example for future AI development and its application.
I think the NYT is suing OpenAI because they feel threatened. It is natural to feel threatened by a new and powerful tool. But, OpenAI is not a competitor against NYT.
NYT shouldn’t fight OpenAI. Traditional media companies should embrace AI. Use AI to be more efficient. Imagine a chatbot helping readers sift through the vast archives of the NYT’s articles since 1851. I’d sign up for that right away!

GPT Store is the newest addition to OpenAI. This reminds me of when Apple launched the Apple Store. But there’s a difference
You don’t need to code to launch a product in the GPT Store!
The Details:
3 Million GPTs: In just two months, 3 million custom GPTs have been created.
Diverse Range: Explore a variety of GPTs across categories like DALL·E, writing, research, programming, and more.
Builder Accessibility: No coding skills are needed. Write prompts. Then, share your GPT in the store.
Revenue Program: Coming soon, US builders can earn based on user engagement with their GPTs.
The Significance:
Since the launch of the GPT Store, ChatGPT has dramatically increased website traffic. The first day, it took more than 30 seconds to render my first prompt.
Economically, great success for OpenAI. Innovation-wise, it is phenomenal. Using a leaderboard with an incentive structure will drive builders and users forward at an accelerated pace. This move also reflects a broader trend of democratizing user-generated content. It is like a half-open-source feature.

OpenAI's ChatGPT just got a team upgrade, and it's a game-changer for startups and businesses.
The Specifics:
New Kid on the Block: ChatGPT Team joins the Enterprise version. It offers GPT-4 and DALL·E 3 access, plus cool tools like Advanced Data Analysis.
Team-Friendly Features: Dedicated workspace, admin tools for team management, and a 32K context window for GPT-4.
Privacy First: Your business data stays yours. OpenAI doesn't train on them, keeping your secrets safe.
Custom GPTs: Create and share tailor-made GPTs in your workspace. Only available to you and your team.
Why it is important:
OpenAI is brilliant. ChatGPT Team is how OpenAI differentiates itself from other LLMs. OpenAI recognizes that other LLMs are catching up to GPT4’s quality. So, they redirect their attention to attracting businesses to onboard with deals and perks.
Integrating AI into business operations isn't just a trend. It's a necessity. With ChatGPT Team, startups could be more efficient. And OpenAI will be dominating the LLM market.
🥤 To-Go Cup
🧢 OpenAI asserts that most allegations that the New York Times claimed were untruthful.
🏪 The GPT Store is now available on OpenAI’s website. 3 million GPTs were created in 3 months!
➕ OpenAI pushed out the ChatGPT Team and numerous benefits for small businesses to onboard.
If you enjoyed this article, I think you will like this one too!
It’s about how to code without actually coding.
Until next time,
Your friendly barista and ☕️ GPT!
